A lifelong lover of books, Sheri’s passion for storytelling began early. She earned a degree from Eastern Washington University with concentrations in Psychology, Communications, and Women’s Studies, later pursuing a Master’s in Humanities at California State University, Dominguez Hills, where she wrote her thesis on the 19th-century vampire classic Carmilla. Her fascination with gothic literature and the supernatural continues to influence her writing, bringing a rich depth to the worlds she creates.

Beyond the page, Sheri has lived a life filled with adventure and service. For over a decade, she was a nationally certified K9 Search & Rescue handler, working alongside her German Shepherds to locate lost and missing persons. While no longer active in the field, her commitment to this vital work remains strong.
She’s also an avid runner, setting a personal goal to complete a half-marathon in every state. When she’s not writing or training for her next race, she enjoys stepping into the world of acting, having appeared in local theater productions and television series such as Z Nation and Grimm.
Sheri’s passion for storytelling, adventure, and exploration makes her not just an author, but a dynamic and multi-faceted individual whose creativity knows no bounds.
